Ages:

Hannah Horberry was the village’s oldest person at the age of 92.  She lived in High Burgage, probably next to the shop at Gate End.

The son of William and Lucy Aldridge was the newest arrival in the village - just up High Burgage from Hannah Horberry on the opposite side of the road.  He hadn’t been given a name, and was just recorded as ‘Infant’.

Elsie and Doris Urry were 8-month-old twins living in Low Burgage.
