who died March 23rd 1883
aged 62 years
Also
Mary , wife of John Lord
who died August 2nd 1882
aged 70 years
Be ye also ready for in such an
hour as ye think not the son of
man cometh

Note: In the 1861 census, John and Mary Lord were living in “Waterside House, Private House” (another part of it was a ‘beerhouse’) and their occupations given as accountant and accountant’s wife.  The name Lord does not appear on the 1851 census of Winteringham.  John was born in Fotherby, and Mary in Newport (Lincs).

aged 68 years.
And of Elizabeth,
daughter of the above,
who died April 2nd 1922
aged 56 years.
With Christ which is far

Here
lieth interred the body of Philip
Lawtey
who departed this life the
22th {sic} day of May 1801 aged 57 years.
Also on the south side close adjoining
lieth Hannah Tomson his daughter.
In health and strength, he went to bed,
Before the morning he was dead;
And you'r not certain that you may,
Live for to see another day.
