In 1905, the NLLR planned to extend to Alkborough, and Burton Stather to the west, and to South Ferriby and Barton on Humber to the east. Note
that these plans were produced even before the NLLR had been built to Winterton and Thealby, West Halton, and Winteringham - and five years before the line to Whitton was opened!
