Here are some photographs from Flyer’s family album ... but before
Flyer was born! These all show family photographs of holidays at Cleethorpes.
Top: the Pier as it was when opened - photo taken in 1912.
It was shortened to prevent the enemy using it as a landing for ships during the Great War.
Two: On the donkeys, a popular ride, and a popular photograph for decades!
Three: Paddling in the Humber. Keep the feet wet, and the hats dry!
Bottom: Taking a rest on the Prom!
