UNVEILED - A plaque was unveiled at the Winteringham village hall to
the memory of Mr H Dunn, a friend of the hall. The late Mr Dunn, who was a resident of Ancaster House, left money for the village hall fund. The money will be used, with grants, to extend the
hall. Grateful villagers were unable to trace any family for Mr Dunn and decided to erect the plaque as a form of thanks. Our picture shows, left to right: Mrs Sheila Dewson, vice-chairman of
the village hall committee, Mr Martyn Hammond, chairman, Mrs Ethel Ellis, who unveiled the plaque on behalf of the Winteringham Humberside Senior Citizens Club, and Mrs Cynthia Cawrey, Chairman of the
Humberside Club.
