Martha Elizabeth Burkill, born in Winteringham in 1858 (father Thomas Burkill), and seated is her mother, Sarah Ann Shaw, born in Barton on Humber in 1831.
My grandmother's father, John William Balme, was a boot and shoe maker who moved from Ravensthorpe to Hull but, I understand, via a stay (I do not know how long) in Winteringham - certainly he was not in your village for any of the censuses.
