Molly Thompson
Molly (Mary) Thompson aged 93 (though the age on the census doesn’t tally with that - which is not unusual). She lived in West End
with her husband, Abraham, who was an agricultural labourer and ten years her junior. They had been married in 1796. According
to the Parish Registers, they had five children - every one a daughter! Two of those died in 1810, one of ‘natural smallpox’ and the
other from measles, whilst a third died in 1817. Abraham himself died in 1870 aged 96!
